NYX Cosmetics are known for their ultra-saturated products that boldly amplify their consumers’ beauty. To celebrate the launch of their Glitter Goals line at Coachella, Revolution was challenged to create an interactive playground that would serve as the premier destination for getting festival-ready. Working in tandem with NYX’s internal team, we dreamed up a space full of Instagrammable moments (like a glitter slide and confetti cannon!) that were ripe for social media activity, ultimately leading to increased brand awareness. Whether it was pinning down a concept, meticulously designing the footprint with 3D renders, or fully fabricating and installing the builds, Revolution ensured festival-goers left with a glam look and the perfect post.

Down the Lip Slide
… And into a pool of glitter! The larger-than-life Glitter Lip Slide with Boomerang photo station and the GIF-generating Confetti Cannon captured perfectly styled and totally unique images for social sharing.
Confetti cannons energized the space and Coachella social feeds with bursts of purple and gold confetti that was chosen to match the Glitter Goals makeup line.
Get Glittered Up
Guests were able to enhance their festival looks at 2 large self-guided make-up stations that were stocked with the latest NYX products and had professional glam artists stationed nearby to help create flawless make-up. We also posted ring light photo kiosks at these stations to encourage everyone to capture the perfect selfie.
Glitter, Glitter Everywhere
From the intricately designed 360* fabric mural to the wall to wall carpet to the interactive sticker wall station, the entire space was covered with glittering surfaces which tied in with the most recent product launch and marketing campaign.
To really enhance the guest experience and bring something completely new to the festival experience, we offered tooth gem application for a lucky selection of festival guests every day.
